Off to the MTC

June 26, 2013

Today is one of those days you never forget!

OFF TO THE MTC

Our dear friend's Bill and Darci Facer asked if they could pick up Hayes at the Salt Lake Airport, take him to lunch and the drop him off at the MTC.
So much better than the airport shuttle service! hahaha
Thank you for helping make this such a great day for Hayes. :)

Hayes's wrestler face...a little hungry...a little grumpy! Needs food! hahaha

Hayes and Devin flew together to the MTC.

Mom and Dad dropped off at the Phoenix Airport.

Ready or not here we come!!!

"Foreword, pressing foreword..."

Hayes gave us the Miss America wave and never looked back! hahaha

Arrived safe and sound in Salt Lake City.

Big sis, I mean OLDER sis (hahaha) met Hayes for lunch
and drop of at the MTC.

Believe it or not, a few tears were shed by this tough little girl! :)

That's it! He's off!
Look out Independence!

The Open House

June 9, 2013

The Farewell went well!
Brother Colton, the previous young men's president spoke with Hayes. That was super SWEET! and Chad Calvert, accompanied by mom Calvert, sang the most beautiful song called, "One Voice".

Click on the link if you'd like to listen to the song.

So many family and friends attended! I have never felt so much love for Hayes than I did that day. He has touched the lives of so many people. :)

We enjoyed having a little lunch at Zack and Chantelle's with the Humphreys clan. It was great fun to have all the cousins together. We missed Jake and Deena but everyone else was there!

After lunch, we zipped on over to the Gunters where we enjoyed a wonderful open house for friends and ward members. Bishop and Shelly are two of the most amazing people! We are so grateful for all the love and support and true friendship they have given our family these past four years! :) They have loved us like their own family!

What a wonderful surprise to see Liz Garrett!
Her son JT and Hayes have been friends since birth!

Loved having Aubs, Haylee and the gymnasts!

Chad, Dor & Aubs! We love you!!!

Even Elder Cambell & Elder Bartelson stopped by.
